Rescheduling:

Please let me know at least 1 day in advance if you need to reschedule a lesson.
You can reach me by email at info@ronkieper.com or call or text (208) 699-6693.

Without 1 day or more of notice, a missed lesson cannot be rescheduled and payment is not refundable unless due to emergency.

However, If a lesson is canceled with 1 day or more of notice, I’ll be happy to schedule a makeup lesson on the designated "makeup lesson day" I have made available each month!
Canceling a lesson in advance does not change your monthly tuition and may be made up.

If you wish to discontinue lessons at any time, please let me know in advance so I have the opportunity to fill your time-slot!

Practice Regimen:

Music is a physical activity and just like a professional athlete we must practice constantly to keep our muscles and reflexes in working order.
Learning and memory is all about repetition, so the more time logged on your instrument, the better, and to quote Charlie Parker’s famous blues tune, “Now’s The Time”!
It is also beneficial to space-out smaller practice sessions (ex. three 30 minute sessions throughout the day instead of an hour-and-a-half marathon session).
You will retain much more information practicing this way and will always approach your practice time with a fresh mind ready to learn!

Remember, the quality of your practice will always prevail over the quantity.
I cannot guarantee the same degree of success with each student any more than a coach can with a group of athletes.
I can however guarantee that if the student and parent will strive with me to achieve success,
a certain degree of success and enormous satisfaction will result!

Music is a journey, not a destination and we are all in this together. So, here is to our journey!
